The Least of These...

 Some of our best audiences and favorite places to go are nursing homes and retirement centers.  The people there are so open, and are happy to just talk and listen to you.  This is where are ministry started, and when we are asked to go to nursing homes, we never refuse!

Mirae is always in demand!  Everyone is always saying, "May I hold the baby?"  We are so glad that she is laid back and willing to be passed around.

Noela too is always being held.....but she isn't so laid back, and sometimes objects to all the attention!

Just recently Grant has been working on juggling four balls.

Grant's juggling is a wonderful addition to our performances! He taught himself a few years ago and has only gotten better!  It is quite hard to get a good picture of someone juggling, but it was a fun challenge. 

Performance at a local church~

Our last performance was at a local church, the performance went wonderfully!  God always blesses us with the best audiences.  It is our calling to share the Gospel with others through Irish dancing, music, scripture recitation, and more.  We have a few upcoming performances, so keep us in your prayers as we prepare.

We had a wonderful time Saturday night, ministering to those who attended the St. Patrick's Day party.  There was a wonderful photographer there, an elderly gentleman who was one of the trailblazer to digital photography.  He kindly shared some of the photos he took, and now I get to share them with you!

Our Upcoming Schedule

This should have been put out sooner, but better late than never!  Here is the schedule of our upcoming performances.  If you are in the area, come see us! 

March 5th – we are performing in Fowlerville, MI at St. Agnes Church. This includes dinner and entertainment, including an Irish Step Dancing Performance, a DJ, and bagpiping. Tickets are necessary for this event and can be purchased at St. Agnes Church or by calling (517) 984-6057 or (517) 223-3954. Prices are: $20 single ticket $50 family ticket (includes all children under 18 yrs.) $100 for a table of 8. St. Agnes Church, 855 E. Grand River Fowlerville, MI 48836.

March 17th (St. Patrick’s Day!) we are dancing at the Howell Opera House, Howell, MI. (This performance we are dancing only, instead of our full program.)

March 19th there is an Irish Tea at the Turner Dodge House, Lansing, MI.

Date: Saturday, March 19, 2011 Time: 1 p.m. Cost: $8 per person

April 15th – performing for the 50+ers at Mount Hope Church, Lansing, MI. A time for those 50 + to connect, Mount Hope welcomes you! Bring a dish to pass. Meet in the Garden Prayer Chapel at 6:00.

June 17th – We will also be at Elkhart Assembly of God Church, 1010 E. Mishawaka Rd., IN 46517. The gathering is from 6:00 to 8:00, bring a dish to pass. Call 574-262-4228 for more info.

First laugh

     Yesterday, about eleven o'clock am., Mirae laughed for the first time.  Grant was the only one around to witness it.  He said she was very happy at that time and smiling a lot.  It's always so fun to watch the little ones do new things and you only have a short time to see them do it.  Before you know it, they'll be moving out of the house and they won't be around very much.  Be praying for us, that we will be a good example to our siblings and when we have children, we will lead them down the narrow path.

~Water~

[I composed this post several months ago, and just got around to posting it.  Enjoy!]

Lately, water has been brought to my attention.  Lydia is doing an essay on it, and as I was looking through some of our pictures of water yesterday, I thought it would be fun to post some.  Water quenches thirst, helps things grow, and is very fun and beautiful to photograph!  Thank God for water!

Christmas Cookies!

Hello Girls!  How are your Christmas prererations coming?  (Hopefully good!  Christmas is tomorrow!)  At our house, we have been busy.  We recently made cookies.  They were arranged on trays, and we added tracts, tea, and candies.  I hope our neighbors and friends enjoy them as much as we enjoyed making them!

Guess what?

We have a new little sister!  She weighed 9lb. 8oz. and was born yesterday a 6:18am.  Her name is Mirae Hope, which means "Blessed Hope."  We are all really excited!
