Today we celebrated Grandpa Fedewa's 88th birthday. Almost all the aunts, uncles, and cousins were at Grandma's for the fun.

Dance Performance
Today we have two dance performances to do. Some of the students in the class before us asked us if we would help them to give a performance for their schools. We agreed, so today at 2:oo and 3:00pm we will be dancing!
Also today, we will be getting a dog to watch over the weekend. Her name is Annie.
Later, Lydia and I are going to go with Grandma to her friends graduation open house.
I read in Jeremiah today.

Forget-me-nots
We were quite busy today! Dad had his ear surgery today, so Mom and him left at noon. Lydia and I had dance tonight, and because Mom and Dad wouldn't be home, there was some juggling to get us there!
When Dad got out of surgery, he felt fine, but he is in A LOT of pain now. Please pray for him!
Other than that drawback, we've had a great day!

Next Bright Lights Meeting
How was your weekend? Did you do anything for Memorial Day? We had a great time Saturday at Greenfield Village for the Civil War Remembrance (see post below). On Sunday we went to church, opened our pool, and went for a bike ride!
Our next meeting is on Ministry, so if you have any sort of ministry, no matter how small, I would love it if you could come prepared to tell us about it! Witnessing stories would be great, too. Also, don't forget to read your lesson and memorize the verse.
Can't wait to see you all on June 1st!

Happy Memorial Day!
Freedom is not free.
Don't forget all those who died so that we might be free! And remember...we must keep on in our battle for freedom!

Greenfield Village!
Yesterday our family and two friends--David and Marie Adrian--went to Greenfield Village for the Civil War Remembrance. We had a great time watching the re-enactments, going through the historic houses, and watching the craftsmen make things in the Village Square.
Today, I woke up at 5:30 to go jogging with Mom. After that, I tried to read my Bible, but fell asleep. We went to 10:00 church.
I read in Jeremiah today.

Step Dancing Performance
Noela wearing Lydia's wig
Today we all (our family--Mom, Lydia, Grant, Vince, Lance, Noela, and I), went to an adult foster care facility and did a Dance/Recitation performance. There were about 25 people who watched, and I think that the residents enjoyed it! Mom gave some history, Lydia and I danced, and Grant recited Proverbs 19 with me.
Afterwards, we toured the facility and saw all the gardens, chickens, and the lamb that they have there.

This is Vince. Doesn't he look funny? I'm not sure, but I think he is eating extra-specially spicy meat and potatoes.

Lydia and I lead a Bright Lights group together. Bright Lights is a discipleship group for girls. My group has girls ages 8-14 in it. We have had lots of interesting topics such as Witnessing, Being Fully Dedicated to God, Truthfullness, etc. The meetings are every first and third Monday. Our last meeting (the 18th) was on Mercy.
Today I got up at 5:30 and went jogging with Mom, then came home to read my Bible. I read in Jeremiah today. I also practiced Irish Step dancing.

Jeremiah 9:23-24 "Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:
But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise loving-kindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord."
