Blog Party~Happiness!

Over at Sewing in the Past, Rebecca Jane is hosting a blog party!  Go check it out!

List ten things that make me happy...

Homemade smoothies.  Tasty!

My little sister.  She's so cute and cuddly!

God's creation.  It really is breathtaking.

God's word.  It's a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

Swinging.  Especially with friends!

Freedom.  We haven't always had it.

Friends.  To laugh with.

Sunrises.  And the walks that go with them.

Watermelon.  Sweet and drippy!

And finally...cameras to capture the rest!

New Jeresy: The Wedding

We had a great time! The day was beautiful, the food amazing, and it was fun to see everyone and meet new friends!
The wedding was so pretty!  Sun shining, birds singing, and everything went smoothly.

New Jeresy: The Wedding Rehearsal

Noela @ the rehearsal.
The rehearsal dinner was at a little Italian restaurant.
The food was amazing!  Everything was so perfect it looked like art!

Down the street was a pretty dam and old mill.
After the dinner, there was a pre-wedding party.  Some square dance, others socialized.  Lydia and I did a little Irish Step Dancing while the rest took a break.

More later.....

New Jersey: An excursion

Our family had a most delightful excursion to Hacklebarney State Park.  It was beautiful!
We all went wading in the streams and river.
Vince went in farther than the rest of us....before we left, he had been swimming, and was wet from head to toe!
We originally left the camera in the van, but after seeing the river and streams that flow through, we had to go back!
Mom made the rather long trip back to the van with me.
Uncle Kyle, who is the reason we made this trip in the first place.  We went to NJ for his wedding.

The woods were breathtaking.

Rocks are fun to climb!
There were lots of little falls, and they were a lot of fun!
Grant was my buddy throughout the walk, and as I had the camera, there are more pictures of him than anyone else.
Our Dad is great!

Ellis Island: Island of Hope, Island of Tears

We had a lot of fun learning about the history of Ellis Island.  It played such an important role in our history!

Welcome!
Interesting Architecture
This is the room where the immigrants had to stand in line, waiting for medical exams, etc.
Vince doesn't like museums, but maybe this has taken his fancy!
Want to play piano?

Not your usual ceiling!
The buildings were pretty!
Come again soon!
