All the children--there are not very many! (the five to the left are us!)

On Monday, a snapping turtle came up into our yard to lay its eggs. A turtle usually does this every year (there is a pond behind our house). The turtle let us get as close as we wanted to it, and didn't pay any attention.

She was a big one!
