Our Yard and Nature....

I thought you might enjoy seeing some fun picture of our yard. Even though we live in the city, we are blessed that we are still surrounded by God's beautiful nature.

A pretty little plant

We have plenty of birds!

A picture of our garden

One of the many corners of our yard

A look out back

A different view

Our pool

Our pool, shed, and the back of the garage

Some flowers growing in the back yard.

The wind was blowing when I took this picture!

Another look at the back

Some twirlies on the tree up front

A wild climbing rose

The front yard. This is also where we play wiffle-ball with the neighbors and guests. Dad and Lydia are standing at 'home plate'.

These little bunnies have made their home in our front flower garden. They're so cute, smaller than my hand!

When we took these pictures, it was early in the morning, and they were in the front yard eating grass.

We're spotted!

At first we thought there must be three bunnies, but as we watched, a fourth rabbit hopped its way across the yard and joined the others, who were overjoyed to see it, jump and leaping over each other in a little pile.

Some tree trimming

Our swing set that Dad built for us.

Grant, Vince, Lance, and Lydia love tree climbing!

Isn't he cute?

This fawn had been living in our mulch pile for some time, although it has moved to a nearby spot, probably thinking that we are much too noisy when in the pool.

It is less than three feet high!

She was very well camouflaged, and we accidentally threw the mulch on her several times!

Some ducks who make their home and raise a family in our swamp every year. There are also many geese, who always have a good number of babies, but they look nearly full grown by now.

Aren't robins eggs so pretty?

A frog that Vince brought in to show Mom and I.

They put him on the window and tried to get a good picture, but this is the best we got.

One of Lydia and Grant's favorite climbing trees. That is a robins nest up there.

Queen Anne's Lace that is growing in our front yard.

Isn't our swamp pretty?
We live in the city, but I wouldn't trade our house and yard for anything!
